Default Lowest lifetime MPG?

I'll start. 46.7, currently. When I bought the car 3 years ago, it was at 45. something.

Default 43.5

One of my cars came with a 43.5 LMPG. Was very easy to improve on that.

There was a cvt on here with 19mpg or something similar, everyone figured it was used as a portable stationary air conditioner

I picked up mine 5 years ago, it was 10 years old, with 19K miles....and 19 MPG lifetime average. After driving it for 20K more miles, and doing the math, the 19 MPG for 19K miles was ligit. I reset it about 4 1/2 years ago and have 70.0 after putting 70K more miles on it. Now at 106k miles.

Look at my signature picture.

When I got mine it had 42.5 and this was from a self proclaimed enthusiast. I had to reset it, cuz I couldn't stand to look at it (I know that's frowned upon here, but I don't plan on ever selling it, so I feel it's justified). My LMPG over the last 9k miles is 61.1 now.

I don't think they ever reset any of their tripdometers tho cuz every single one including the FCD said 42.5. I left trip B alone and I've got it up to 48.4 now.

I'm struggling to hit 50mpg lately, but it's cold out and I'm on snow tires, so... it is what it is.

My daily commute right now (to the house I'm building) is straight downhill... 1000' total elevation drop. The trip home is 1000' straight back up. I use the defroster the whole way down and all the way back up. I'm still getting 47 mpg.

When purchased 2011 from a daily routine of two hours long highway commute to the city via rolling foothills with previous owners: [4.2L/100km] = 56 Lmpg
[Suspected that the 'Lmpg' was 'reset' prior to sale, due to relatively rapid Lmpg changes: using hypermiling techniques in conjunction with long highway trips and 'driving around for fun', soon brought Lmpg to [3.9L/100km] = 60Lmpg. ]

____________________________

Later changes in driving routine to almost entirely short city trips, including very cold sub-arctic type weather featuring low ECT and slippery conditions, and no more 'driving around for fun' type hypermiling excursions have resulted in:
[4.6 L/100km] = 51 Lmpg , my Insight's lowest point so far.
____________________________

fwiw: Tankfuls of fuel for last +2000 km in sub arctic conditions: With short trip city driving, loose traction on ice/snow conditions, with the ECT rarely getting to normal operating condition, a/c defrost on full, and idling to keep warm waiting for a passenger the trip meter says a woeful : [6.2L/100km] = 38mpg, which should improve with temperature.
