Default UK Warranty?

Hello, can anyone confirm what the situation is for the UK - is it 8 years and 80k miles on the battery and control modules?

Thanks!

Hi Kalmar

The Hondacare Guarantee on my 02 Insight states:

The IMA pack is covered under the terms of this Honda guarantee until the vehicle reaches a maximum of 8 years or 80,000 miles from date of first registration whichever is the sooner.

I dont know whether this still applies if you dont have a Honda warranty

Regards

John

For me it is nothing with my dying battery pack because my car is not officially sold in the Netherlands............
I am waiting for a final answer.

I am repairing packs on EVs. If you don't get anyway, let me know, perhaps I can help you. Of course finding the cells might be difficult over here, not many Prius or Insight in the scrap yards..

Yes

Thanks to Honda the Netherlands and Honda UK I get my warranty for replacing the IMA pack and controllers !!!
Next week parts will be there for installing.
I think Honda made a good gesture for this IMA pack problem I have at this moment.
