^ yup. I let my map light on & didn't find it 'till a couple days later. Car was dead. Had to jump the 12v to get the car to start from the pack.

uh yeah, these cars aren't that new. additionally i see plenty of people driving around in newer cars with their daytime running lights and no tails on, because people have grown to rely on technology instead of their head.

i mean come on, these cars are barely as old as the internet became heavily populated, and even before there was such a thing as Y2K, alot of people were probably still using pagers too... i see kids driving cars who were born after the car was even assembled.

granted it's easy to forget that the car was built almost 2 decades ago, but then again it just reminds me that i'm getting old. lol

Every car I have ever been in has left the dome lights or headlights on (if you switched them on) for as long as the battery has juice for it. This isn't a Honda screw up, it just makes sense. Why would they override something you manually turned on? Also, at least this car beeps letting you know you left the headlights on, unlike some other vehicles of this vintage.

Get real, you're just looking for something to gripe about.

the interior lights are automatic, i actually hate automatic driving lights for the reason i gave above.

in addition they are annoying, like when you are sitting in a parking lot and someone in a SUV pulls in front of you and gets out, while their car is blinding you for 3 minutes while they are already long gone, or the ones that turn on the reverse lights when you open the trunk or unlock the doors, so people think you are backing up when you really aren't.

technology isn't always a benefit, quite often it's for lazy people.
