it will of course depend on the size and shape of the suit case... Round ones maybe stylish to some people but they suck up disproportional amounts of space.

Me and my wife have not had a problem with a weeks worth of stuff for the two of us, on the trips we have gone on... the rear area also works GREAT for cake transporting.

I'm currently at ~64000 miles, putting on around 900mi/week driving from Washington to Utah and back. This is a fantastic road car!!

Only problem I've had was when the check engine light came on at around 50k miles. Car still seemed to run fine, but thought I'd get it looked at anyhow... this was a combination of codes:

- Right front ABS wheel sensor
- Upper Oxygen/airflow sensor
- Fuel tank emissions vacuum circuit

The latter was a field rat that decided to eat through a wire, and the dealer fixed it at no charge beyond diagnostic, which was very cool.

These sensors are quite pricey at the dealer for just the parts alone, so I decided to order them from HondaPartsDeals.com (and I ordered BOTH Oxygen sensors, just to be sure), and then paid the dealer around $100 to have them installed and check engine light hasn't come on since.

Later, the maintenance indicator light came on and I found it is "stuck" on, and even the dealer mechanic gave up trying to reset it. He thinks the instrument cluster circuit or the trip button itself is broken which is a costly repair for something that isn't too functional so I will let it go. No worry here other than me remembering when to do my oil changes. Maybe the light will burn out eventually.

The most painful problem I've had was the trim above the windows, which was leaking into the car shortly after I bought the car. Pay careful attention to the installer if you EVER have the windshield replaced!

My Insight has been loaded with ~ 400lbs of extra batteries for over 20K, has had the batteries beat on by MIMA for 45K, and at 124K, has had no mechanical or electrical problems. You will likely not be disappointed with the car.
Good luck with your purchase.
