Anyway we can improve the search engine?

I love this site, but I cant seem to find anything unless I go back 30 pages since search results almost always have nothing to do with what was typed in. Can we use a different search engine that actually works? I would be more than willing to donate, and I'm certain that others would to, in order to make this site a usable resource. I have been on gassavers.org for 2 years and their search engine is only slightly better, but how about the honda-tech engine, that is the best, can we use one like that?

I find the search function works better if you use "_" each side of the word. InsightCentral is also about to be upgraded to phpBB3 which may have better functionality.
