Engine starts up while in Auto-Stop

I had driven 60.8 miles on my way to work this morning, had the Econ heat at 72 degrees. I was coming to a red light, so I turned the heat off, and when I stopped, the Auto-Stop engaged. After about 30 seconds with my foot firmly on the brake, the engine started up again. I don't ever recall this happening before. Maybe it had something to do with it being so cold this morning. Anyone else ever have the engine start up while in Auto-Stop with their foot on the brake and not moving?

it can happen if its very cold (30's?), if the engine has not warmed up yet and also if the battery level is low [to charge it]

ive had that happen once or twice

and i think it might be when the engine temperature is right between the "go into autostop" and "dont go into autostop" temperatures...while running, the engine is right above the threshold, but as soon as it goes into autostop it cools just enough to drop below the threshold

It can happen if the car decides to do a recall during Auto-Stop... I've had that happen.

It can happen if the car is too cold...

It can happen if your foot on the brake moves every so slightly with the music on the radio... had that happen.

The brake booster has a set point that if it drops from lightly pumping the brake, the car will restart.
