Default I lost my insight....

Well, my fiancee and I split up and he got the insight... I am devastated. That was my dream car, and now it's gone.

Cattygurl, That's horrible news; hang in there.
Next year they're coming out with better hybrids anyways and you'll be back on your feet by then

Good news is they can be found in great shape for under 8k. I just got a pristine, babied, highway only 97k miles silver 2000 5spd with a/c for $7500, so just save a little dough and find another. Then you can pull up next to him at a stop light, and challenge him to a "how slow can you go" race... the higher mpg winner goes home with both pink slips, and you can sell "his" for what you paid for yours... you'll then have yourself a free car.

Well, my trusty old civic still runs and I can't afford to get a new car for a while... Ghibli-san (as I used to call the car) was the car of my dreams. Sigh. It's been so hard...

what year civic? that is a good car to have, at least you're stuck with something that is still efficient, and probably reliable too.

I have my first car still... it's my trust 93 Civic Si hatchback. Has taken years of abuse and still keeps running. I just have developed a fierce attachment to my Civic, because it just won't give up.

Bunnster (the name of my civic) is an inspiration, for sure... *weep* and Bunnster sure missed her friend, Ghibli.

Okay, now I'm probably becoming a little too weird for you guys.

A thought that might cheer you up a bit is this: In a year or two there are going to be several new choices for high-mileage cars, and everybody on this site is going to have to agonize about whether to keep their Insights or to move to a whatever-the-new-thing-is. (Well, some people will probably have both.)

So you're one step closer than the rest of us to getting a 2010 Honda CR-Z!
