Sorry to hear about your car It was a classic paint job, though. As soon as i saw it i told my husband i wanted that too When i lived in Boston i lived next to a specialty car accessory store and one of the employees had a new Beetle painted black with glitter in it, but you could not see the glitter unless you were in the sun. That is what i want!!! lol. Purple + glitter = super cool. HOWEVER, i would run the risk of someone here seeing it and taking pictures and making fun of it, just kidding.

I work in a body shop. It would be unusual to bake a car above 120 degrees or so, though the booths go as high as the 140's. Given the amount of time a vehicle will usually spend in a booth, (about 20 minutes) I doubt the interior temperature would ever get anywhere near that. I wouldn't hesitate to bake my Insight.
