I keep seeing commericals for the Honda Clarity, Honda's new fuel cell hydrogen car. http://automobiles.honda.com/fcx-clarity/
Wow. Looks pretty neat. Limited leases to Southern California for $600/month. 270 mile range per fill up. I will be looking forward to any details if someone here manages to lease one
Only $600 a month for a lease? I'm shocked that our thrifty lil cadre haven't snapped up each and every one...
Seriously though, I'm waiting for the CRZ hybrid.

I seriously doubt that anybody on this forum is going to shell out 600 clams a month for the clarity.
But I've been wrong before.. If the clarity is going for that price, imagine what the BMW Hydrogen 7
would lease for if they make it available to the public?

There was a recent article in USA today about these vehicles getting placed in celebrity hands. I wonder if they are paying anything? For what it's worth:
Actually, I believe I read that Honda got around 50,000 inquiries for their FCX Clarity. Of which, they get rid of nearly all of them because people who own it have to just happen to live very close a hydrogen fueling station.

$35,000 for a hydrogen powered car seems almost like a steal to me. I wish I had the opportunity (money and location) to partake in that deal. Granted, it isn't cheap, but at $35k, that is definitely attainable for plenty.
