Default OEM floor mat - passenger side differences?

There seem to be two part numbers for the passenger side floor mats - one for the CVT, one for the manual - while there's only one for the driver's side.

I would have thought that, of all places, the driver's side would have had two different floor mats.

Anyone have an idea what the differences are between the CVT and manual passenger-side floor mats? I can't think of what would change in the floor pan between the two cars -

Default Re: OEM floor mat - passenger side differences?

The TCM (transmission control module) is mounted vertically behind the carpet on the right hand side (to the right of the passenger feet) so the carpet sticks out more - I guess the floor mat has to fit around this area.
