Carfax is not accurate. Found this out when a report was done on my car and it came back with no issues. Four years ago it was rear ended and sustained $4800 damage. Repair work was paid for by the insurance company of the hitter.

Most DMVs will do it too for a fee. If the car is on ebay they automatically give a car fax like read out. Assuming they listed it properly. Otherwise I would assume the seller is hiding something.

Best trip so far. 104 mpg over 80 miles.
EPS fuse removed,
upper and lower grill block.
rear wiper delete, passenger wiper delete.

just to clear things up for everyone who thinks we mistakenly commented on a "4 year old" post. about 6 am yesterday, someone other than the original author of this post, commented saying he had found a website to receive a Car Fax for only $5, and proceeded to provide a link to that site. the whole posting and web link from the poster has been deleted, so it appears as though we have commented on a very old post, but it because first a newer post was removed.
