The paired sticks look identical in the pictures that I have seen of the Gen 2 Insight packs. ...except there are 7 modules or 14 sticks(84 cells) instead of 11 modules or 22 sticks(132 cells). With less cells in series the imbalance between sticks will likely be less of an issue as there are less cells to deviate from each other. It is also less work performing a repair when working with 7 units instead of 20 separate sticks, but it also means that one or two bad cells in a 12 cell double stick is going to cause more of these double sticks to get tossed into the bin of non-serviceable modules, likely making them cost more when rebuilding than 2 separate sticks.

Yup. My price is $50 each for the Gen-I 6-cell sticks and $125 each for the 12 cell-sticks based on the number of bad stick pairs that go in the recycle bin.
