Default Service engine light

I just purchased a 2001 Insight with 153000 miles on it and the service engine light is on. Autozone said it had a P1167 and P1166 fault. I am replacing both upper and lower O2 sensors with new one from Bosch. My question is when I replace them will I need to have a honda tech reset the computer or will it reset itself?

I think you could go back to Autozone and let them clear the codes, or you could buy a Scangauge II and read and reset codes yourself besides having the gauge to monitor dozens of engine parameters at will.

Replacement with aftermarket O2 sensors vs OEM sensors has been problematic, hope yours work. Others will have to address that subject as I've not been down that road, yet.
