Has anyone painted their Insight GPW?

Just wondering if anyone on here has painted their 1st generation Insight Grand Prix White? If so, would you mind sharing some pics? After research I found they are only available in Japan. I questioned myself because I saw a lady driving a white 1st gen on the freeway! I thought to myself it's been repainted...Unless she special ordered it? It had the HOV stickers on it to. Thought I would share because white is my favorite car color.

I remember seeing a repainted white insight on ebay some time ago... Maybe that is the one you saw. It was originally silver.

White is the correct color for an Insight to keep the cabin cool and offer more visibilty than Silver (unless it's snowing), and I plan to paint mine that color.

Was the one you saw on ebay originally a Northern California car and have hello kitty seat covers? The one I saw did, LOL. WOW, thanks for the pics! I have a good idea of how nice a white 1st generation Insight looks.

I am more interested as to how many Insight owners have actually infact painted their Insight... If so please share photos.

Mine is a blue 2001 that I repainted.
