What is on the steering wheel on the Japanese Insight?

As I was searching for double DIN solutions I found this picture of the Japanese Insight and I was wondering what the two buttons are on the lower right center of the steering wheel? Is it an OEM cruise control or after market cruise control or something else? Maybe a prototype image?

Same thing they are for on the US CVT. D and S transmission buttons. (Drive and Speedy, S is a different ratio, causing the engine to run at a higher RPM)

OK I see now. All the pictures I've seen were from a MT Insight then. That or I just did not notice it until now.

"Speedy" - hahaha. I'm thinking it's actually "Sport", but I like your interpretation better.
