Default Dinghy towing a 2002 Insight (Gen 1)

We just bought a 2002 insight and are wicked pleased with the mpg. Haven't quite mastered all the techniques, but just driving the way we would any other manual transmission on our first trip of 145 miles in very hilly country (Vermont) we averaged 55.2. Can't beat that in any other car around!! All you high milers are probably thinking - how poopy is that!! But, we'll get better...
Anyway, we would love to tow it behind our Winnebago Rialta because it's light enough at 1800+ lbs. Remco seems to say any FWD cars can be towed 4 wheels down - anybody have any experience with towing? Had some other questions/comments too.
1) Seats are uncomfortable - I read several posts on this issue.
2) Our radio sound pretty tinny - is that the norm with aluminum doors? Do we need new speakers or a whole new system?
3) If we can tow, we'd also love to be able to transport bikes/kayaks. Is there any custom roof rack out there??
4) Inside is kind of bare bones - would love map pockets on the sides of the doors and more space for stuff - any thoughts?
