I'd like to see what kind of servicing he did to the car. I'm sure he has had the transmission replaced a couple of times.

He is claiming that it is still the original engine and transmission, although he did say he took the engine apart to clean it of carbon and then put it back together. I'm suprised his fuel pump lasted 700K miles before giving out!

He says the transmission is original... If it's a manual transmission, I can believe it. Automatic.. eh, I guess it's possible.

The mid 90s were a sweet spot for Honda. Their transmission troubles didn't start in earnest until the early 2000s.
