Sorry lol. Just wanted to jump on the bandwagon showing that it's not uncommon to buy an Insight sight unseen.

When I bought #1 back in 2007, I thought I was going to have to fly out and drive one back, and I would have.. but luckily a local one popped up. I went through the paces and test drove it, but I knew I was going to buy it regardless.

I did purchase the insight without hesitation, sight unseen. I did receive copies of the carfax and service records, including the record of the new ima battery replacement. I have purchased and sold several vehicles without ever seeing them in person, one I even shipped to a guy in London via an ebay sale. So far I have not had any problems. The insight is a 2000 MT with only 78K and I paid $7K, I could not find a better deal. The records were perfect and I felt very comfortable with the seller. After getting screwed on a 2002 MT w/86K on ebay, seller sold the car out from under me and strung me along for a week, I feel much better about this deal. By the way, the 2002 is back on ebay with an asking price of $9K, I had purchased it for $6K. I think it is up to almost $5K with several days left on auction. Now I am just waiting to receive the vehicle. Can't wait!
