Eli: What is the trick to getting the fuelly small picture links into your signature?
I have tried to cut and paste the code from the fuelly site but I just can't seem to get it to work for me.
Thanks!

When I initially did this, I was not aware that it only allowed me to do so because of my Moderator status.
I inquired in the Mod forums to see if there was any interest in allowing this for everyone, but it was pretty much crickets.
Anyone who wants to be able to do this, please post here. Perhaps if there's enough interest we can get the admin to allow it..
I think it's quite pertinent. Indeed, forums like Ecomodder allow users to share their overall MPG this way. I think it's great.

Seems ignorant not to. I don't like the restrictiveness of how its currently configured.
You can still set it up in such a way that people can't break your layout with over-sized pictures. (Likewise for normal forum posts).

I actually don't want this, and I'll tell you why:
Because:
If linked images/html are enabled in the sigs, people will start putting their obnoxiously large signature images in there. This way is nice because it cuts all that cruft, but I can still see sigs (I'll have to disable them otherwise).

I think this is the main concern.
There may be a way to limit the size of images in sigs? I am not sure.
We could also just simply add a forum rule that ONLY Fuelly images are allowed in signatures. I don't think the less than 100 pixel tall images clutter things up, especially when you consider how many people here are likely dealing with the obnoxious ads.
It seems really silly to me to disallow this. It's a great way to share information on such a MPG conscious site, and it updates itself in real time when you add data to your Fuelly account.
We have a couple of people here who have used large fonts and colors in their signatures, or many lines.. That should be disabled, IMO.
Nobody should be using 800x600 monitors anymore. I don't think the small images are a big deal, but your opinion is noted.

As I said, its trivial to add style rules that don't allow images to exceed a certain size, and if you set that size intelligently, then it doesn't break the flow of the screen.
