Default Another reason to check your air filter

I've been meaning to post this picture for two months now. Back on September 30, I changed my engine air filter. It had been in there since August 29, 2009. Before September 30, I don't recall the last time I checked it. So, my jaw dropped when I opened up the filter box and saw this:

A mouse apparently walked right in the air intake and made his home on top of the filter. Luckily, there was a tight seal on the bottom of the filter. It is amazing that the engine wasn't starved for air. I'll have to start checking my air filter more often.

Cheers,
Bryan

This is more common than one would think.

That's like a mouse mansion.

And a very windy one at that! This mouse must have been the poor cousin of the one living comfortably near the IMA battery.
