Default idiot question on front parking/DRL bulb

The small round 5W bulb beside the headlights... it's gone.

How do I get the bulb holder out?????

Is it the normal twist and pull?

I don't want to force anything. The problem I have is that the plug for the bulb is kindof L-shaped, and the wider part is up against a piece of metal, so it's hard to twist it any more, especially with tight access.

Also, I assume I should twist is anti-clockwise to remove???

Am I being an idiot????

I got it out. It can go in in 4 positions and a bad one had been chosen which made removing it a bit harder.

When I first bought mine last year all 4 of the front parking/running lights were burned out. The only lights that worked in the front of the car were the headlights and turn signals. Never having owned one of these cars before it took me a few weeks to realize that yes there were more lights in front that were supose to be on. Got to replace all 4 of mine at the same time so yes I hear you on some of them being hard to get to.

Yes, the bulb does twist and pull out.
