Default What app do you use to track fuel/expenses?

I've used the small Adams auto expense booklets to track my expenses for years (and then type them into my spreadsheet on my computer) and was about to buy another one for 2012 when I realized "I bet there is an app for that". Apparently, there are a LOT of apps for that!

I've seen some using Fuelly which comes with an app that links to the website, but that seems mainly for MPG only and not overall expenses. Based on features, FuelLog and aCar seem to pretty good as well and allow entering of a lot more data.

I'm curious as to what others are using.

Fuelly does track cost per mile, and I believe you can add in extra value for oil changes and repairs.

Its what Eli and I use.

I'm certainly open to alternatives.. Fuelly is just the first one I found. I used to just use a spreadsheet.

Default Gas Cubby...

I've been using Gas Cubby for quite a while now. It tracks MPG as well as repair expenses... It's really pretty comprehensive. It will also export and syncs online for backup. I track all my vehicles with it!

I like that it graphs, has search functions (extensive) and allows you to set reminders for services. I liked it enough to pay for the advert free version

All the best,

John
