Passenger side mirror replacement????

Does anyone know how to replace the mirror on the inside of the mirror assembly... the glass mirror broke.. I popped the black piece off and replaced the glass on the black plastic piece that has the main hole and the two other holes that go into the white nobs that rotate the mirror (all three holes on the plastic piece have little metal snap rings.... I can get the middle main hole pushed back in... but the two holes that have the two white nobs that need to be pushed into won't push back into place; consequently, the mirror is in place but the button can't move the mirror because I can't get the two white nobs popped into the back of the plactic piece where the two holes are.... does any one know how to get all three connections on the back of the plastic mirror in place... is there a special tool that honda uses to pull on the two white nobs so the can extend far enough to be pushed in... help much appreciated...

It has been awhile since I did it but I think I popped the small white knobs into place first and then the large center knob.

try pushing harder. all three pivots should just snap into place
