Default Snow tire selection question

I've never run snow tires before, but my Insight came with a set of four on steelies. Changing them now, but I notice there are two Yokohama ice guard iG20 and two Blizzak WS-50. Treadwear is the same on all four, I'm not sure why the PO got a mixed set, perhaps for a reason.

So, winter driving experts, would you recommend the Yokohamas or the Blizzaks for the front? I'm in the Hartford, CT area, my 30 mile commute is half two lane highway and half I-84. Both the two lane and interstate have some pretty decent ascents and descents.

Given that, I'd be looking at those Michelin snow tires. Be nice if he'd included the Blizzaks.

You've confused me

The options are the 2 Blizzaks or the 2 Yokohamas, both of which he gave me when I bought the car. I'm wondering which set of two to put on the front and which set of two to put on the rear.
