Default Front wiper

Hello everyone!
I have two Insights that have the front wiper over wipe and hit the A Pillar. Is this caused by the wiper assembly or the motor? No guessing! I'm taking the shortcut by asking here to someone who's already had this problem.
Thank you again!
Mike

Same thing when I bought mine, just break loose the nut holding the wiper arm and pop it loose, move it back just a little and tighten it down. Try the wipers to see if it moved it far enough back to not contact the A-pilar, if it is then repeat and move it back just a little more.

EDIT: A lot of times if you have the windshield replaced they take the wiper arm off and then just throw it back on without adjusting it correctly, shoddy workmanship basically. Also be aware that if the wiper arm hasn't been removed in a LONG time it may be slightly "stuck", you may have to gently pry it off but be careful not to damage the glass or plastic around it.

Default Wiper fix

That seems simple enough! Thank you!

are the wipers the correct sizes?

when removing the nut or the wiper, also be careful of the paint around the hood.

I had the same problem. I had to switch the arms left to right.

Driver arm is short with a long blade

Right side is a long arm with a short blade.
