Default Hit Me!

I bought my 2004 Honda Insight October 2011. I've owned several 2 seaters, including a 1984 Fiero I converted to electric and a 1986 Fiero with a 2.8 V6 engine. I still currently own my 2004 Nissan 350Z with $8k of Nismo performance upgrades. I like the Insight the best!
Out of all of these 2 seat vehicles I've never had an accident....until December 28, a women at a shopping mall backed into my Insight, no major damage, but her insurance gave me a $1035 check to replace the hood, paint it and the bumper and blend in the fenders. I'm sure it would cost that much to do the work. Tonight I was working in the engineering lab and hear somebody yell, look out the window and somebody backed into my Insight and broke the passenger side headlight lamp and dented the hood. We did get 3 inches of snow and my car 'appeared' to be invisible , but this is getting ridiculous!
Either this car is cursed or people have trouble seeing it! At least it has a 4 star crash rating in it's category.
Hope you have better luck with your rides!

Oh man, that is horrible! A 4 star crash ratting need at 0 MPH! Might need to put one of those long polls with an orange flag like they put on golf carts at construction sites.

Well at least the hood was already damaged, trying to look on the bright side of things.

PS:: That is also a good reason I live in AZ, don't have to shovel sunshine! Strangely enough I'm actually going to be in Ohio at the end of March visiting the AF Museum in Dayton, hope there is no snow!

You'll have to wave as you go through IN as I'm assuming you go through Indianapolis if you are driving; I'm about 3 hours north.
