Default UK - Insight Insurance Help

I have owned my Insight since November and I am loving the car.

The problem is insurance costs.

I have my fleet insured with Footman James

7 Vehicles insured fully comp unlimited miles, myself and wife to drive

£900 to renew

Vehicles are

Porsche 928 S4
2005 Mini Cooper Cab
2 x VW syncro campers
54 Beetle modified
Marlin Kit Car
Ferguson Tractor

The Mini is £450 of that
The Porsche 928 which does 165 mph 0-6- 6 secs worth £8000
£80

To add the Insight on they want £650 its only worth £3000 tops

I tried to argue it was a classic, but Honda's have to be 20 years old to be classics.

I need advice on cheap insurance £650 is rediculous.

I bought it to save money, so I told the wife, it would be as cheap to run the 928 doing 15 mpg, with the insurance costs and then battery costs.

Help please otherwise I might have to sell.

Don't want to

We also use Admiral and pay £426 incl. tax for two drivers, comprehensive, protected no claims, in the South East.

We didn't phone around, this was the insurer we were already using.

I have just paid £451 with Admiral for all three of my cars on a multicar policy with declared mods and me & mrs driving any of them with some business use. £500 excess and cars valued at £2500 each. It's really only the third party liabaility i'm bothered about. Both of us have full ncd no points etc. £100 more than last year
