Questions on a possible battery warranty

Hey, I purchased a used insight with roughly 180,000 on the odometer. Included in the receipts is a diagnostic receipt from a Honda dealer stating that the IMA battery needs replacement as well as possibly the battery monitor (Or something similar to this). This was at 115,000 miles. So, I am assuming that the battery must have been replaced at this time, but I don't have a receipt or any documentation for it. Do you think that I would have to track down the specific Honda dealer that the battery was replaced at (in order to honor a possible warranty) and also would Honda even provide a warranty on something like this?

I am in the UK, no battery warranty here as I understand it?

Can anyone give me chapter and verse (Eli?) on what the warranty situation in the US is?

I think some politiking could be in order in the UK...

You could always... simply Search the Sticky just above the posts on the main page... ?????????

Done some of that searching didn't find anything straightforward. (Perhaps its not.) This looks probably out of date?
