Default How do I take off Center Cover Assembly?

This is the part that surrounds the stereo head unit and contains the electrical outlet cover. Could someone tell me how to take this off.

Thanks in advance,

Russ

Remove the glove box door (look to the bottom of the hinges).

Then on side of the center console closest to the glovebox, remove a screw and a bolt. The center console is only held in place with clips after that, so gently pop it off with you hands.

Thanks for your help... I couldn't figure out how to do this.

Making Japanese double DIN fit US Insight

This thread has some good pictures that might help, if you don't have it off yet.

I haven't had a chance to take that part off yet. My wife was gone a few hours with the car and now it's dark, so I'll wait for another day to do it.

Thanks

If your trying to get to the gauge cluster, you don't have to remove the housing around the radio.
Now if your trying to change out the radio, you do.
