That's probably the clearest graphic yet (1st pict post #29) showing the correct clocking of our indexed plugs. Looks like you got it right. Bugone, though, last picture in post #20, seems to have it 180 degrees off...

I guess it all comes down to whether the position of the electrode in the 2nd picture in post #29 is accurate. Would be funny if we were all working along the guidance of a photo that wasn't correctly indexed.

I think you're right though. I've mentally rotated the wrong way. Looks like ill be doing a bit of tightening of those plugs. Thanks.

It's right. There was another long thread a while back where a bunch of us worked through this, more or less.

I've re fitted the plugs now so that the mark on my spanner is 'west'.

The torque felt just about right, I could feel the washers crushing. Id be worried turning them another 90 degrees.
