I am thinking that I will assemble 6 cells, 2 of yours, 2 of the Ones Eli is using, and 2 from a third vendor, and make them into a 6 cell test stick.
All cells will be datalogged while charging and discharging together so we will have a direct comparison................
What is the effect of position in the chain/series due to R/DeltaR of adjacent (or not) cell(s) and the connection(s) between them? Would not a parallel setup be more likely to yield more valid results?
I haven't had a chance to test them on my rig yet. I need to fab up a single cell clamping jig, and I'll need less than the 0.07 ohm load that I currently have for only a single cell.
In other words, you'll most likely beat me to it.
Series vs. parallel doesn't(shouldn't?) matter as long as each cell is being monitored individually.
If there are differences in the cells, we'll find them.

Lets see
I have answered at least 25 e-mails today , upgraded the labview datalogger, and spoke with 6 people on the phone, as well as shipping a charger and discharger.
It is 7pm, and I started at 8Am, and will likely be at it until I quit for dinner at 10PM or so. I do the same on weekends.
Tomorrow is my 67th birthday, so I am taking a day off.
I will get to it asap.

I am only set up to do the test in series, so that is what it will be, I will be building a cell level stick tester down the road that can be duplicated easily, so I can do multiple sticks at a time and hope to pass all my old sticks through it to determine where they stand, so the stick format is the way it makes the most sense for me.
Happy Birthday Mike! Enjoy your day off.. You deserve it!
Today was surprisingly quiet, but I'm usually right there with you. A dozen emails and phone calls, couple of shipments and some updates to the rig code and that about completes my day.
