I hate posts like this as it entices me to spend more money. At $120 ea these are a no brainer for someone looking to replace the stock wheels. Mine have scuffs and a little corrosion to both the wheel and the center cap. I have tried finding a set of stock rims for a decent price, but they are usually either too expensive or not any better than the rims I have. Not only are these lighter than the stock wheels, but they also look cool. Ordered a set of 4 in the light grey. $523 shipped

Beautiful, but I don't think they will be as good aerodynamically as the original wheels

Agreed. This was my big hangup on ordering them. But when my commute dropped to 3.5 miles of city streets, I figured what the heck

I seriously doubt there will be much of a hit if any as the wheels are tucked in out of the main airstream.

Some 185/60-14 would fit nicely and fill in the wheel arches better. If economy is not an issue.

I'm going to stick with my 'new' Potenzas from this last summer.

I'd be interested in finding out the lightest weight wheel for our re92's. Exact weights of these aftermarket wheels (and our stock wheels.) I'd be inclined to buy a set of 4 of the absolute lightest wheels out there, with looks being secondary. Just to try and see the difference in mpg's. I've also been curious as to thinner tires. like 145's. I believe Bridgestone potenza re92's are listed on some of the tire sites in 145's and 155's, but not avaialble? Maybe just not in the U.S.? No luck so far. You know us hypermilers mentality....

I can't imagine how poorly it would drive on 145's. I'd love to go up a size. Different strokes....

155-80-13 Would be a very similar size. I actually tried to do this size and bought steel rims but found out that the junkyard Toyota Tercel rims DO NOT fit the Insight. It has the same 4x100 bolt pattern but nobody ever stressed to me that the center hub on the Tercel is smaller than the one on the Insight so the rim wouldn't fit over the hub. Those tires are cheaper and my plan was to use that size on the fronts for when I drive around on autocross tracks for fun and didn't want to burn up expensive rubber since the 13" tires are about half the price. The rims were dirt cheap but I have no use for them since they don't fit. Obviously not lightweight either but that wasn't really my objective. I'm just glad I didn't put the rubber on the rims or I'd really be cringing.
