Default Kosei K1-TS Wheels on my Citrus Insight (pics)

I've have these on for a week or so now, and finally got around to snapping a few pics. They are noticeably lighter than the OEM wheels! I didn't get them on a postal scale but held an OEM and a Kosei in each hand and could easily feel the difference.

Anyways, here are the pics:

I love them. Do they impact MPGs? I don't know. I don't drive on the highway much anymore. The car accelerates great, but not a huge noticeable difference because I never accelerate fast.

They are mostly a vanity item - UNLESS they change the wear pattern of the RE92 tires. That will take a little (lot) longer to find out though . . .

I had a set of Konig Helium Ultralight rims on my HCH and saw a +2mpg gain, hard to tell if it was the wheels or the tires or both but they did weigh about 8lbs less per wheel/tire and that's a ton of rotational weight.

I never though about it before, but I bet the dual valve stems are awesome for filling the rear tires.

That's a great point! Would be very useful.

I've gotten pretty good at rolling the car backwards with my foot while watching for the valve stem.. lol

I'm thinking Silver would look good on my red Insight...

I like these wheels. Not bad price either...I am looking at TireRack but they don't have an add to cart function for these wheels. It also says it doesn't fit the Insight

Order them for a 1993 Honda Civic DX to get the correct hub centric spacer rings
