Different Colors?

In Australia red, silverstone and citrus were offered in 2001. The IC knowledge base is wrong in showing that citrus was 2000 only. Seven 2001 model year citrus cars were sold in Australia.

The knowledge base also doesn't show Berlina black as a colour for I1. In Australia for 2002 Citrus was dropped and replaced with Berlina black. Two black cars were sold.

A total of 45 I1's all up - they're as rare as hens' teeth here. Other than mine and a silver car for sale recently, I haven't seen another I1 for a year at least.

Anyone have any Japan production figures, or input on colors seen more or less frequently over there? I would think with Japan being the country of manufacture, there would be many there. More than the U.S.? Ant thoughts from those "in the know?"

I intend to keep it (to replace my 88k citrus I just sold,) but if I decide to sell it, I'll let you know first! Just from what I've read here from the Canada and UK guys, I'm thinking it is indeed much scarcer a color than the citrus (not just in the US (obviously,) but in other countrries as well. Like I said, if they were prevelent in other countries, you think there would be a few pictured/mentioned on the web and/or our forum....I'll shoot some pics as soon as I get a chance to detail it up!

I decided to sell my auqa marine blue insight after all, only due to my daughter's college tuition demands, and the fact I have a better toy in the garage and can really only justify keeping one. I fixed the few things it needed (new upper o2 sensor, abs fixed, new driver's seat cover, etc.) It is perfect in every way, and has a clean carfax and has never been in an accident. I have a buyer with a deposit, but he says he can't wait another week for the title to come (the only delay, on my end,) as his insight just bit the bullet and he needs wheels right now. 79k original miles. I'll post it in the buy/sell catagory once I have the chance to take some pics (this coming monday or tuesday.) If anyone wants to talk in the meantime, PM me your phone number, and I'll call you!

Wow, that white one is crazy low. You'd rip the strakes and probably the whole bumper off with the slightest pothole!

OK, I'd be pretty happy with an Insight that had 230HP. The black one is just insanity.
