Default Radio Harness - Need help right away please

I bought a JVC radio and I'm most of the way through the install. I bought the wrong adapter harness. I'm willing to cut off the OEM connector and splice directly (OEM wires to JVC wires) but I need the color coding on the OEM wires.
Any ideas?
The wrong harness that I bought was from Best Buy which was a general "Honda" harness but does not fit. Has anyone had success with any other best buy harness?
I'm going on a long road trip this coming weekend and need to get this done in the next day.
Thanks,
Ryan

Default wrong radio harness

hi ...

just switched my insight radio out for a dual usb input with power unit at walmart ..

i just bought the basic honda harness and everything hooked up just fine ...

you should also be able to get one at any best buy or a radio installer ... all the honda's are the same for the years ...

don't drive yourself crazy and start hacking into wires ... use the harness and it will be fine ...

good luck

bring your old radio in when you return the other harness. then you can look at the "new" harness to see if its correct. They have it, no need to hack the wiring-you'll be happy later that you didn't

This. Oh, this. Patience, man, do without the radio until you get the correct harness. Don't go off hacking wires because you can't wait a day or so.

With your attitude, I'm glad you're not a surgeon. You're not, are you?
