if you want a simple charger, you can build one yourself if you are ok with electronics . The schematic is available on 99mpg.com

I've been driving around one gear lower than normal to keep my battery charged. (4th instead of 5th, 3rd instead of 4th, etc) (until its near-full). So what connections are added to the battery to enable this trickle charger?
