Default Where to buy AC Delco air filter

I wanted the AC Delco air filter because a test showed it was the best, but it was difficult to find (nobody carries it). So I called the company directly and they directed me here. I ordered 18 for my two cars:

rockauto.com

Do you really think you will have the cars after 200,000 miles use?

Of course. I don't throw anything away unless it's dead. I even have an old Win98 laptop because it still runs

I had a really hard time finding this air filter. No shops had it. No warehouses. Even AC Delco didn't have it, until I found that rockauto website. I decided I'd better buy the part otherwise it might become impossible to find in the future.

lol thanks for the tip. I wasn't sure what to do since I ordered my Trico Innovisions from rockauto and I forgot to throw the air filter into my cart.

Fram CA36609(for about '95 Dodge Caravan V6) fits, with a little push, into the G1 Insight air filter container, and has amuch bigger filter element. I liked it because it was 1/2 the cost of the Honda part- now I see that I should have found Rockauto.com! Their price is 1/3 of local parts stores.

Keep all those filters in a climate controlled place so they don't rust.

The filtration paper inside shouldn't start breaking down after 5 - 6 years should it?

RockAuto has the Caravan filters (Fram CA3660, there is no 9 in the part number) for cheap. Starting at $1.80 each. Beats the $12 I paid (shipped) for the eBay chinese generic Insight-specific filter.
