Default need to change a tire? no jack? No problem!

Just park strategically like so:

I'm not hurt, somehow the car isn't bad either - I probably hit the ditch at ~40mph. Was a really hard hit, but the ditch was soft and the insight is tough.

I need some new cosmetic parts, not sure about alignment yet - wheel is slightly crooked but not sure what is bent to make that happen.

Anyone want to sell me some body panels?

Holy crap! It's got 3 wheel motion! At least you are ok and you will have your Insight back on the road very soon!

Snow.

I wouldn't say I'm the best driver in the world, but I've piloted a rally car with trees 6" from either mirror at 120MPH and my summer car is a 700+hp GTR.

The insight is super unstable in deep snow, I think due to the rear track being narrower than the front, so they don't ride in the ruts the fronts created.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that.

As far as parts, I need some undertrays, the pass. side fender skirt, and I am still looking for a hood.

Yeah, the Insight can get pretty squirrely in the snow.

Putting 1" spacers on the back wheels will help with the rear track issue.

Yeah, I had no idea that they were that awful. This seems like a serious design oversight. I have not yet purchased snow tires, I was waiting to see if it would snow here this year.

Cool

Ouch!!! Sorry to see that man!
I drive in the snow here, got some narrow snow tires on - Took a huge penalty on MPG but it's just a price to pay.
The last storm we got about 20cm and while driving on the HWY the left underbody aero panel got ripped from the front attachments.
They were made for the streets of Tokyo not the back roads of Canada...

ain't that the truth!

Actually after this accident my one underbody panel got ripped off by deep snow. It was probably damaged earlier in the accident. I may just redo the under panels with aluminum instead of trying to buy all the OEM ones, since ALL of mine are now damaged or missing now.
