Default New Honda IMA battery installed

Long time lurker, first time poster...
Just wanted to share about my recent dealer experience for any interested parties, since this was the "big" one. '
My '06 CVT with 91,000mi had a complete loss of IMA assist/regen, with both the IMA light and check engine light coming on. After a couple days on internal combustion I got a P0A7F code read for free at Pep Boys. Got all the info I needed here on the forum and decided to try to get a "Goodwill" discounted Honda pack. Buena Park Honda ran their test and a day later gave me a quote of just about $1,400 out the door (down from $3k list). A bit more than I was hoping, but I just wanted it done... Receipt shows 3yr/36,000mi warranty. No mention of BCM or MCM needing to be replaced(they didn't say, and I didn't ask). I've read that these packs may not be 100% new, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I have low end power again!
Car is mostly stock. Pulled EPS fuse, AutoSpeed type intake, Matiz springs, 185 tires (sorry, but I LOVE them).

You were lucky. Must have played your card right

Interesting information about the warranty. Thanks.
