G1 Floor Mats Out Of Production

It would appear that the floor mats for the G1 are no longer in production

With this in mind I have spoken to Custom Car Mat Editor about getting a set made from my old floor mats.

Would any of our UK owners be interested in a set if the guys at Ambassador Mats did a template from my mats?

Yes depending on the price.

I also need a set for my HCH1 as they are also not avauilable

But I don't have any old HCH1 ones to use as templates.

Looking at about £22 for std velour or £32 for 'super' velor. You get to choose the colour of carpet & edging.

They can make from a paper templet.

I'm after stock look and quality but happy to go for super velor if that is the general view.

I don't own one, but I have a friend with an '04 Civic Sedan. Same floor mats, right? If so, I will see if he has the OEM mats.
And I'm also heading to the junkyard (er. breaker yard) and try my luck if I see a proper vintage Civic.

Hm, don't know what sites you're looking at Peter, but there are lots of places in the US still carying the stock fitted mat sets.

I just bought a brand new Honda set for about $75 6 months ago... if you're having trouble sourcing them, maybe you could have someone order from the US and then ship it to you?

Unfortunately we drive on other side of the road so those front's may not fit correctly.
But good idea. I'll think about it.
