I am looking at a few different options in my area and would like some feedback on them... Thank you!!
1) 2000 Citrus MT – 87k miles – dealer bought at auction, replaced battery, originally failed emission test and assume now passed – no accidents but very visible dent in the driver door – $8k
2) 2003 Blue MT– 44k miles – owner, no history or battery info yet , reconstructed title. Asking $5400
3) 2000 Silver MT – 150k miles – owner - IMA battery was replaced by Honda under the warranty, BCM was recently replaced by Bumblebee Battery with the updated computer, replaced 12v battery approx. 1 month ago, valves adjusted last summer and the car runs like new! Car has the correct OEM low rolling resistance tires, has Alpine 180w amplifier with 12" subwoofer installed in the rear storage lid, also includes car cover (only used once!) $5000 firm
If you've got the money I'd negotiate for the citrus but see if you can get them to come down on it due to the door damage. It will run you $300-500 to get the door damage fixed depending on how bad it is?
The salvage title is a mixed bag? Very low miles is nice but what was the damaged that caused it to go "salavage"? Also due to that status there is no warranty left on the car at all, Honda will not honor warranty on a salvage title.
Last one is not bad for 5K, but for just a few more you could have that citrus.

bought 08/19/2012, @ 193k miles and 48.6 LMPG. as of 2/1/13. (49.3) LMPG...
Best trip so far. 104 mpg over 80 miles.
EPS fuse removed,
upper and lower grill block.
rear wiper delete, passenger wiper delete.
Number three sounds great! My 2000 Insight came with the Shoebox sub and passenger seat amp, and it sounds great. Put some good front speakers in and a new head unit and you have a really nice sound system.
Good price, too, and with the (somewhat) new battery, sounds like it should do very well. I wouldn't worry abut the miles; these cars last forever. My friend's CVT is at ~230k miles and runs fine, gets about 60mpg on our daily 40-mile drive.
#1 if you can get it for less and value the citrus collector status.
Or BOTH!
G1 Insight is a great car. EVERYONE should own at least........TWO!
Welcome to the forum.

(Still needs some stuff...but I already love it.)
I'd go with #2. Newest car with the lowest mileage by far. Reconstructed title on a 10 year old car won't affect value much. And while its good the batteries in 1 & 3 were replaced, most here will say if they put in a Honda IMA battery, it won't last too long.
Thanks all - #3 got sold before we set up a time. I would actually prefer red (too bad there's no white here), but I'm working up the nerve to go give the citrus a shot...negotiating with a dealer is my idea of torture.
negotiating with dealers are piece of cake. its very easy to lower the price just be very aggressive, dont let them talk over you, and have more knowledge.
i personally would get #2 and negotiate the price on that. thats really low miles and if the body and paint is good, the rebuilt title wouldnt bother be for that price and mileage.
