Hi Lakedude:

___Check out the Insight forum over at Priusonline if you think you have been treated inappropriately here. I have asked the admin of that site 4 X over the last 9 months or so to remove that crap … So much for an @$$ being an @$$. Anyway, you haven’t been banned or anything but Tim and Yves like to pull the trigger quickly before it gets out of hand is all.

___Good Luck

Lakedude, first, I saw that your original post was not answered. I did, if you check it out. Basically, no other that the site owner pays for the site (not Honda), and is Brian Pirie. The site admin is Benjamin Young.

Here are my thoughts:
The thread passed through the cracks and was not answered. That is something that can happen. To any new thread.

You wrote: "...well founded" I do not see the relation between the events and your comments. The thread was locked from what I understand, the thread subject and the direction it was going, from what I understand.

To remain on topic is something important for all as the information has more meaning, can be reused,.... You can always create a new thread for other subjects.

The moderation duties are never easy. Each has it's own personal views. But I think that in general, things are going well.

I can understand that any specific Civic question does not have a great bunch of experienced people here to respond since it is an Insight site. But I have not seen any yet.

The "fake picture" thread was locked by me because I consider a discussion of faked/not-faked pictures of MPG readouts to be off-topic. If you have any other questions, you can PM me rather than discussing it further here.

You need to shift to "Low/first" gear. It will redline the engine & give acceleration only 1/2 second slower than a manual.
