thats a vodoo shift knob... 175 for a knob is nuts...

Shift linkages are kinda irelevant here... i just need the knob.. so what i was asking was if the threads for the s2000 were the same as the threads for the insight... im just gonna assume they are... i really want the chicken!

The stock knob for an S2000 can't be cheap either. It could be like the Honda antennas, most of them are interchangable.

It always cracks me up that when you see a "wrecked but rebuildable" S2000 on eBay, besides all the body panels and other parts it needs, the shift knob is also missing.

I was thinking about changing my shift knob to the Civic Si leather knob. It is a direct fit and has the right gear pattern on it. Red stiching too.

I had a custom shift knob made by koolknobs.com. Bruce, who runs it, was really nice and patiently explained all my options. I ended up with a upside-down, bell-shaped smiley knob that was yellow with silver and pearl swirls. I just love it, but it's only 2" in diameter at the top (the widest point). I have small hands so it fits me perfectly, but anyone taller than five feet might have issues.

You can even get personal stuff embedded in them, like pins or buttons. Pretty neat. He has a bunch of different shapes and colors, smiley or not smiley. I think he even has some with lights in them.

I installed the s2000 knob (a friend gave me one...he replace it with the TSX knob on his S2000)

They are all the same

you can get it for <$40 at http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

get the lock nut too

The MOMO stuff is crap. Those set screws do not secure the knob for long, unless you are very gentle with your shifting
