The EPA highway test does includes some stops, hence battery usage.


IMHO the EPA should add another test called "interstate" which has no stops, at 75 miles per hour. That would be more accurate to how many Americans drive.

If they wanted to accurate simulate American driving, I think they need a "gridlock mileage" and a "bat out of hell mileage" to replace city and highway mileage, respectively.

Could it simply be that the EPA tested the car again and didn't get the same mileage. Afterall how many of us fall with 2 mpg of normal trips on a regular basis. Have fun, RIck
