FREE Tires!?!* (*Possibly)

What with the relative difficulty of finding "our" Bridgestone tires (and rumors of backorders floating about) in mind, I was startled to find the following offer from Pep Boys in my Sunday newspaper last week (I was throwing out papers today and luckily noticed it):

Flyer# 11.04 1NATG24 (top letf corner, big yellow and red block letters)

ANY TIRE, ANY BRAND for ANY VEHICLE GUARANTEED in 24 HOURS or it's FREE!

GUARANTEED LOWEST PRICE on ANY TIRE, ANY BRAND or it's FREE!

Seems to me if they can't deliver on their 24-hour-deadline promise to come up with four of "our" tires, at a price lower than other vendors, they ...give you four free tires?!?

Anyone try this?

I see your BIG print (where's the small print) <g>. Nor do I see tireS mentioned. I'd bet you'd be lucky to get ONE free. :)

But if your in the market and you can afford to wait for the other three... <g>

Else anybody having difficulty with tirerack.com? (just curious) Bought mine a couple months back there without difficulty or delay! :)
