Default Birds 'n Books

I'd appreciate suggestions on two different questions:

1.What works well for cleaning and protecting the exterior matt black plastic trim that wraps around the back of the Insight? I read the excellent thread on best waxes, but did not see info on exterior trim. This summer we used Turtle wax 2001 protectant on our Focus. That tended to streak and then leave a white haze over the black plastic. Both cars are parked under big maples and a major songbird flyway, so appearance tips are welcome.

2. We've got a scout who wants to do a badge on hybrids...great topic! There is a lot of internet information, but I wondered if there are any books in print... you know, a general information- lots of photos -coffee table kind of book?!

Thank-you.

For cleaning and protecting the black plastic trim that wraps around the back of the Insight I find that basic Armor All works well. Just be sure to apply it in a cool, shaded area or it will leave some streaks (which can be removed by buffing with a clean, dry rag).

You could probably make a book with all the information in the encyclopedia and knowledge base on this site. High-resolution pictures are a little harder to come by.
