I just bought a 2000 that I found from autotrader.com in Macon, GA. I am very happy with it. I have been researching the Insight for about 6 months and was in the same boat as you. I ended up paying a little more than I wanted, but this car looks like it came off the showroom floor yesterday. 32K miles.
Get your financing together so you can give them the money as soon as you decide. It'll make that part go much easier. There have been some pretty good ebay deals lately. Don't get impatient.
