Hi All:

___I haven’t seen the MADD calendar’s since before Christmas and my local Pep Boys would not let me take their stock for $2.50 per without the calendar which they did not have of course. I called another Pep Boys a bit further away and they had a few coupons and 51 quarts in stock. They gave me 6 coupons worth but it only covered 36 of the 51 quarts. I now have 76 quarts which should last a lifetime but I sure would like to find those coupons to pick up that last 24 at my local Pep Boys. Especially considering many have simply used 1 coupon for their entire purchase of multiple cases

___Anyway, there are still cases out there and if you want them, you had better grab them.

___Good Luck

The Greenville PEP BOYS charged 5.07 a quart. Only 10 quarts in stock but I did get 3 quarters free for buying the $1 calender. Have fun, Rick

Hi Big D Insightman:

___2 reasons actually. First is in case the future owner of my little beauty needs some, I can spare a few quarts. Number two however is the most important. The MDX, Ranger, and Corolla use it too

___Good Luck

Default Specs on 5W-20

Mobil1.com does not list any specific test for this new 5W-20
...until the test numbers are posted, we will not know for sure.
The new specs are posted: 5W-20 is 50.0 at 40°C (an increase of 16%) and 8.9 at 100°C (an increase of 6%). Small differences, but maybe significant if are trying to eke out the best performance.

But there are other synthetic 0W-20 oils:

and

Or these, which are made for racing:
http://www.silkoleneshop.com/products/o ... 50020.html
Similar viscosity numbers to the Mobil1 0W-20 synthetic.
And
http://turbofrogperformance.com/Product ... e/300V.htm
has even lower viscosity; but is advertised for short-run drag racing, not long-term protection...

Default AMSOil synthetic?

Does anybody know anything about Amsoil? If you check out their website they have some amazing claims.

Amsoil is a major player in the oil business. You can't go wrong using it.

Something to think about when purchasing a "life time" supply of oil. It does have a limited shelf life and the containers can break down allowing the oil to leak out. This has happened to me with a bottle I had for 10 years.

According to the Mobil 1 engineers, the shelf life of their oil is 5 yrs.
YMMV
