Default Door Visors

Just wondering if anybody has installed them on your own, was wondering how difficult it is. Would like some, but hate to pay for the labor on the install if it is something I could tackle myself.

I put mine on one day. It took all of an hour or so.

Easy as cake.

Those look sharp. I may give it a go after they add my XM next week.

Just ordered a set off of eBay from a Honda dealer for $68 w/free shipping, should be here the middle of the week. I ordered the cargo tray from the same dealer last week and it arrived quickly.

Guess it will be a project for next weekend. I watched the video for the Civic install on DIYHonda.com and it looked simple enough, I assume it won't be too different.

blueridge -- there are 2 brackets for each visor that go between the door sash and window run channel, then stick on with 3m tape and clips. Here are the install instructions: http://handa-accessories.com/insight/10visors.pdf

I like the way that one looks more than the actual Honda bumper protection product.

I imagine we'll get them the same day. I'm just a bit northeast of you in VA Beach.

Well, the door visors came today, but I am apparently an idiot because I can't even get the clips in between the glass run channel and the door sash and still have the window go up. I've also put a nice little scratch in the door sash, so I need to get these installed to cover that up.

Anybody have any advice on how to properly get the clips positioned?

Well, I sort of got mine installed. I watched an install for the Fit and they didn't even use the brackets, so I skipped that step

They seem securely fastened, I'll see if they stay on when I drive to work tomorrow. If not, it is a $68 waste and I will order through my Honda dealer and have them install them.

Will try to take pics tomorrow. Already parked in the garage for the night.
