Default Battery Vent Seatbelt blockage

I tuck in the rear seatbelt on the driver's side so as to not block the battery vent. It fits in rather nicely and it hasn't budged yet.

Anyone else do this? I plan to keep this car for at least 10 years so I want to keep the battery in tip top shape.

Hey, great idea.

Thanks, I'll do that.
Nobody will ever sit back there anyway.

Did the same as you. Honda should put in a seat belt tie down to unblock the vents next go around ( Mild Make Over ). Of course, I also have the air conditioner vent on the driver side pointed in such a way as to maximize the air flow back towards the battery vent.

You could also just buckle the belt and that would keep it out of the way

I want to get a piece of vacuum hose and run from the drivers rear floor vent to that port, so it gets warm air in the winter, cool in the summer as I keep the ac mixed for vent and floor and no one sits behind me.

THats where I put all my junk and my seat is lowered to the lowest setting and moved all the way back.

For those who buckle in the belt do you need to unbuckle it if you are folding down the seat?

I think you would have to. You'd probably have to move the tucked in belt as well.
